Clouds Or UFO?
The eerie illuminated discs in the sky have been popping up all around the world, with spectacular sightings in Moscow, Romania, Florida and even Ireland.
Mother Nature it seems, has gone all X-Files on us.
Theories about what they are include intergalactic overlords hovering above earth in their big motherships, top-secret military experiments – or that they are just some big round clouds.
Meterologist Karsten Brandt believes the footage and photos ‘are not fakes, but explainable natural phenomenon’.
He believes that the Moscow photos were probably two layers of cloud lying on top of one another, with the upper cloud illuminated.
Some environmentalists blamed pollution for the cloud, but weathermen were quick to reject the idea.
‘The phenomenon has nothing to do with industrial emissions,’ said one. ‘They could not produce such an effect against the background of the current weather conditions.’
If the phenomena did turn out to be spacecraft, we suspect the world’s ufologists would be on cloud nine.
