Breast Implants Saves Woman
Lydia Carranza woke up one morning and went for her dentist appointment in Beverly Hills when a gunman opened fire. The lone gunman shot Lydia Carranza with a semi-automatic assault rifle at point blank range.
The gunman shot directly at her heart but luckily her breast implants took the force of the blow, shielding her vital organs from the bullet.
The gunman had gone to the dental office looking for his wife, who also worked there. She was shot and killed in the attack. Mrs Carranza was sitting a few feet away when the gunman turned on her.
Dr Ashkan Ghavami told the Los Angeles Times that if it hadn’t been for her implants, she might not have survived the bullet.
Lydia, who has three children, underwent breast enlargement surgery some years ago to increase her B-cup to a D-cup.
