Joleen, 39, becomes aroused by even the slightest movement – while vacuuming, sitting on a bus, bending over or walking across a room that she can hardly think straight.
“It’s very embarrassing and it’s impossible to concentrate.”
The mum of two is officially suffering from a rare condition known as Restless Genital Syndrome or Persistent Sexual Arousal.
She says that even regular sex with husband of 20 years Brian does not alleviate her symptoms.
“Being aroused pretty much 24-hours a day is exhausting.
“It’s so embarrassing. I have to try to keep my feelings under control and to ignore them so I can get on with normal life.
Joleen, who has to take sleeping pills at night, added: “If my urges get really strong I lie down very still so there is no vibration at all and that helps a little bit.
She’s hoping that a medical cure can be found in the future.
