Helmet Crazy

A helmet is a form of protective gear worn on the head to protect it from injuries, a variation of the hat. The oldest known use of helmets was by Assyrian soldiers in 900BC, who wore thick leather or bronze helmets to protect the head from sword blows and arrows.

In civilian life, helmets are used for recreational activities and transportation (eg motorcycle) . Since the 1990s, most helmets are made from resin or plastic, which may be reinforced with fibers such as aramids.

The one thing evolving in the helmet category is the art that goes on it. These days you have an option to have anyone or anything’s head painted on your helmet. If you want to be Spiderman then just pick up a helmet that looks 100% like a spidy’s head which comes in various colours. You can even opt to be your favourite motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi!
