Boozy Monkeys of Central America
A study conducted by BBC television on the consumption of alcohol
and drinks in general by the monkeys who inhibit in the jungles and
the shores of the central american island of St. Kitts and Nevis shows
a very similar pattern to that of humans.
Drunk Monkeys
The documentary reveals that surprisingly most monkeys are moderate
alcohol drinkers, a 12% are steady drinkers and 5% drink until the last drop.
Researchers believe the liking for alcohol is rooted in our genes and it is not
something adopted by us.
Unlike humans, drunk monkeys make better leaders who are respected
by other monkeys!
