A Chinese woman is seeking extensive plastic surgery to look like U.S. actress Jessica Alba, mainly because she hopes to win back her boyfriend who she said always wished she looked more like the Hollywood star. Ms.Xiaoqing said that money is no object as long as the end result is to turn herself into a Jessica lookalike.

Jessica Alba said Saturday she’s been distressed by Internet reports about Ms.Xiaoqing saying “I think you should never have to change yourself like that,” Alba said. “If somebody loves you, they’ll love you no matter what.”

Her 28-year-old ex-boyfriend was so obsessed with Jessica Alba  that he hung photos of her on the walls of his home and carried her image on his mobile phone. ‘He was always telling me to do my make-up like Jessica does, even when I’m asleep. At Christmas time he gave me a blonde wig to wear and asked me to keep it on all the time.’

Xiaoqing, who works at an Internet firm in Shanghai, said that she ended their 18-month-long relationship a month ago, because his Alba obsession became too much for her. But now she says she can’t get over the break-up and wants him back. But she adds ‘If in the end he still does not accept me after I undergo the plastic surgeries, I will give up. I will then choose to let go, start afresh and live life by myself.’
