Ever had tricky hedges that were just to high for you to trim or maintain? A man has been snapped taking to the skies in a daredevil bid to trim some tricky hedges. The fearless gardener was spotted tending to a two metre-high privet using a ride-on lawnmower hoisted precariously from a crane!
He must take his hedges very seriously!
The doctor who found Jozef Guzy collapsed by his hives thought he had suffered a heart attack and declared him dead.
The doctor pulled a sheet over him and three hours later the funeral directors pulled up and put him in a coffin and closed the lid. The coffin was taken to the undertakers’ store. And it was there that Jozef woke up…
Undertaker Darius Charon said: “He was shouting and banging on the lid and made enough noise to raise the dead. I touched his neck and felt a pulse.
The 76-year-old was taken to hospital in Katowice, Poland, and released after checks. Now the doctor who certified him dead has apologised.
An ambulance spokesman said: “When we got there he wasn’t breath-ing, there was no heartbeat and the body had cooled.”
Jozef said: “That undertaker saved my life. The first thing I did when I got out of hospital was take him round a nice jar of honey.”

Holly Crawford, a 35-year-old dog groomer, who runs a pet grooming business from the basement of her home has gone on trial in the northern Pennsylvanian for inflicted pain on the 3 cats to make money. Her home outside Wilkes-Barre was raided after animal cruelty investigators received a tip that she was marketing the animals online for hundreds of dollars.
The ‘gothic kittens’ had their ear, neck and tail piercings and were being sold on Ebay. But since Ebay prohibits the sale of live animals someone would have tipped the authorities.
The three kittens were advertised as “pure black, tailless, pierced, gothic kitten.” Their tails might have been removed on purpose and those painful piercings done on their delicate 
bodies. The poor kitten had 14-gauge piercings on both ears and a submission ring at the back of its neck! The three kittens had been pierced a total of ten times.
She asked for offers over $400 for the kitten, the jewellery and a silk submission lead to clip onto the neck ring.
Miss Crawford says she used sterilised needles and made sure the kittens were healing properly. She said she wasn’t trying to hurt them and she didn’t act maliciously.
Melinda Merck, an animal cruelty investigator and vet, told the court that the ear piercings altered the cats’ hearing.
She said that the piercings at the back of their necks and base of tails hampered balance and jumping.
“They were maimed and disfigured,” she said.
A Chinese woman is seeking extensive plastic surgery to look like U.S. actress Jessica Alba, mainly because she hopes to win back her boyfriend who she said always wished she looked more like the Hollywood star. Ms.Xiaoqing said that money is no object as long as the end result is to turn herself into a Jessica lookalike.

Jail officers who intercepted the melon Monday before it reached inmates found tobacco and a baggie full of oxycodone pills stuffed inside. Surveillance camera at the Plaza Super Jet had showed two young women dropping off a shopping bag containing the melon. It was placed with surplus food that was later picked up by jail staffers. Plaza Super Jet workers called and alerted the jail after they looked at the video and investigation is continuing.
A New Zealand teenager she auctioned her virginity online for $32,000 to raise tuition money. The 19-year-old student offered her virginity to the highest bidder on www.ineed.co.nz under the name “Unigirl,”. More than 30,000 people had viewed her ad and more than 1,200 had made bids before she accepted an offer of more than USD$32,000.
Web site owner Ross McKenzie said the site’s policy was that as long as an ad was legal and did not offend the general standards of society, “it was OK.” He confirmed Unigirl was a member on the site.

Anthony Chiofalo’s, a 22-year veteran was suspended in 2005 after failing a random drug test and was fired in 2007 . According to the wife, Catherine Chiofalo, she secretly substituted marijuana for oregano in meatballs, hoping a failed test would make her husband leave police work. But police department lawyer says there was more marijuana in Chiofalo’s system than the meatballs could explain.
Jamison Stone, an 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog that just may be the biggest pig ever found. The hog weighed a 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail. Jamison killed his first deer at age 5 and was out hunting with his father and two guides when Jamison shot Hogzilla.
The hog would have gone through a lot of pain considering the fact that Jamison had shot it 8 time with a .50-caliber revolver and kept chasing it for 3 hours. He finally quenched his bloody appetite when he brought the hog down (presumeably when the hog was already down due to loss of blood from the 8 shots and the 3 hour chase) with a point-blank shot!
According to him “I was a little bit scared, a little bit excited,” …boy how about a little guilty for making something that huge suffer for 3 freaking hours?
The hog’s head is now being mounted on an extra-large foam form by Cunningham of Jerry’s Taxidermy in Oxford. and the Stones are having sausage made from the rest of the animal.
People are now treating the hogzilla killer as a hero of some sort..to the extent of even offering him a part in a horror flick ‘The Lengend Of Hogzilla’. He even appeared on talk shows and received words of congratulation from celebrities like Kenny Chesney.
What do you guys think of this? An animal should be killed in the least painful way. And hunting down something of this size and putting it though a 3 hour chase is just plain inhumane. He killed in a horrific way just to get some attention? Why are children allowed to hunt anyway?

Here is something else that i found, Hogzilla was actually a pet! It was a farm animal, and not a wild boar, that was shot in the 150 acre low-fence area. It was an overfed pet, and gentle domestic Duroc swine, named Fred.
Dr. Melinda Merck, an ASPCA vet pathologist, writes, “Based on the lack of a conclusive kill shot and the prolonged time to die, the cause of death is most likely shock and exsanguinations [bleeding out] primarily from the injuries to the abdominal organs.”� Dr Yi-Horng Lee, a surgeon, agrees that the abdominal injuries sustained from the ill- placed gun shot wounds “would have caused extreme pain and anxiety for a prolonged period of time.”�
Jamison is not a fearless hunter who deserves praise and recognition. Jamison was chauffeured around a fenced-in hunting ground by his dad ,and he had to shoot the poor pig nine times in a three-hour period before it finally died. That unfortunate hog was tortured to allow that little brat his precious photo-op.
